Even though this post doesn’t have information on social media I thought it was worth a post. Most of the information is on unique ways to direct market.
I got to meet Bill Glazer at the Kennedy/Glazer Insider Circle Event in Livonia, MI on 9/16/09.

Here are some of the key points talked about by Bill Glazer , author of the book Outrageous Advertising.
Why ‘Outrageous’ advertising works:
- People are bored
- Everyone is overwhelmed
- People are people (Buyers are buyers)
- People like to be amused
- Your HEADLINE is the most important part of your Advertisement!
Example: “Announcing the (Name), (Offer); You don’t want to miss… that other (Name) don’t want you to know about.
- Include TESTIMONIALS!
- Use all your BLANK SPACE!
- Always make DEADLINES on your sales and specials.
- Use PICTURES
Sales Sequence- Follow up three times in order to double your response.
Who is likely to buy again?
- Someone who has bought
- Referrals
- Someone who has bought a long time ago
Bill Glazer also stressed the importance of being in a mastermind group. I am in one and have benefited tremendously and would recommend it to anyone.
