Steps to take when creating your Facebook Fan Page:

1. Type in ‘pages’ in the Facebook search bar

2. Click ‘Facebook Pages’

3. Select if your page is going to be either:

• Local- (Brick and mortar businesses)
• Brand, Product, or Organization (Example would be Adidas, Nike, Google, Ben & Jerry’s…)
• Artist, Band, or Public Figure (Big Shots, Super Stars…)

4. ‘Click Create Page’- Your page is now live

5. Follow instructions and fill out the basic information to complete your fan page.

6. There are plenty of Facebook Page applications you can add to make it more interactive for visitors. I will be making a video about how and which one’s to add on your page soon.

Create you fan page custom URL:

I decided to add how to do this as well because I have gotten a lot of questions on this particularly. First off you must have 25 fans first before you can get the custom url name. When you do go to this url http://facebook.com/username and you can create your custom fan page url from clicking on set a user name for your fan page.
