I’m excited to notify you of a new Facebook Application called Vpype Live Broadcaster. With this application you can broadcast live video within your Personal Facebook Page or Facebook Fan Pages. After seeing this application being used it I can tell you this is going to be a HUGE deal. I recommend you get on it and implemented. The extreme ease of use and the power this application can have on relationship building within your Facebook community is amazing. This is an incredible application and it’s FREE!

Currently Vpype lets you have up to 300 people at a time viewing your show (you can also allow only a certain amount of people, everyone,my friends, friends of friends,only me . You can also have your live videos recorded so all the shows are archived into your “Shows” tab for people to view at their own leisure.

Another option is to set the date you are going to do your live broadcast. This is a great feature in order to notify people of the live show ahead of time so they can plan for it. You can also follow/unfollow broadcasts. If you follow a broadcast you will be notified when their show is going live. Once you start a show it gives you the option to automatically announce it for you through your Twitter and Facebook accounts.

How to add the Vpype application on Facebook:

1. Type in vpype in the facebook search

2. Select and add the application.

3. Go to your personal profile and click the + all the way to the right of your tabs. Click “Shows”

4. This will insert the “Shows” tab on your personal profile (which is where people can view your live shows).

5. You will then want to drag and move “Shows” from the drop down arrow to your tab bar so it shows (This may move one of your other tabs)

6. If you would like to add the application on your fan pages you will go back to the application page (http://apps.facebook.com/vpypebroadcaster) and click “Add to my page” then select what pages you would like to add it too.

7. Repeat steps 3 & 4

How to use the Vpype application on facebook:

1. Go to your “Shows” tab on your profile or fan page

2. Click on “create your own shows” in the upper right

3. It will then take you through configuring your hardware (video camera and microphone voice options)

4. Fill out your show information: Show Name, Keywords, Duration, etc. click start broadcast

5. You are LIVE!
